Thank you to all those who auditioned for the BYU Youth Dancesport Program. Congratulations to those who have been placed on our 2026-2027 competitive teams! (Please see results below.) If your number is not listed on one of our teams or on the wait list, unfortunately we cannot accept you into our program at this time. If positions come available, we will fill those positions from the dancers on the wait list OR from the dancers in our Technical Development Program.

There is not a Junior Team Boys Wait List at this time.
If you have been accepted on the WAIT LIST for the program, please note the following:
If positions come available, we will fill those positions from the dancers on our waitlist OR those participating in our Technical Development Program. Please note that these numbers are listed in numerical order NOT in the order we would necessarily follow. Some years we end up needing to call people from the wait list right away and sometimes we are still calling our wait list dancers in the Fall. Some years we haven’t had to call anyone. It just depends on the year. Dancers on the wait list shouldn’t plan to attend the Information Meeting next week.
Whether you are placed on one of our teams or not, our Technical Development Program can be a great fit for you. It will be a 45 minute technique class following our Formation Team Rehearsal once weekly for 45 minutes. Feel free to take advantage of this opportunity to learn Syllabus routines, deep dive into technique, have an opportunity to compete Syllabus material at local competitions and perform in our BYU Youth Dancesport Winter Showcase in December. Please follow the same link above to reserve your spot to take advantage of this opportunity starting Tuesday, May 12th.

If you have been accepted on the WAIT LIST for the program, please note the following:

Please pay the $200 deposit to officially accept your spot in the program. Deadline to officially accept is Friday, May 8 by Noon. Click on this link to pay. After this time we will start calling from the wait list.
#2. Mandatory Information Meeting (for ALL parents and dancers):
There will be a Mandatory Information Meeting for ALL parents and dancers on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00pm in 2254 Harman Building on BYU Campus. At least one parent per dancer MUST attend and dancers should please plan to attend as well.
If you are placed on one of our three Youth Teams, there will be an additional meeting prior to this in the same location from 6:00-6:45pm. Each dancer and at least 1 parent should plan to attend.
#3. Summer Medley Intensive:
All Preteen, Junior, and Youth Team Members will be required to attend our Summer Medley Intensive the week of August 3-6. (Preteens will have an abbreviated Summer Intensive Experience). More detailed information will be given about this event at the Information Meeting.
